What is NI4AI?
The National Infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence is a 3 year multi-million dollar effort funded by ARPA-e to accelerate the development of analytics, machine learning, and AI to improve all aspects of the power grid. The project has 3 major initiatives:
We'll be generating high-value datasets for research covering both wide-scale and localized grid behavior by deploying a variety of high-frequency grid sensors. Own a dataset that you would like to open up for research? We host those too.
Provide the tools
Researchers can explore the NI4AI datasets using the state of the art data analysis platform provided by PingThings. Easily visualize dense telemetry, analyze data using Jupyter Notebooks, and train AI models.
